Court Fields School hosted a fantastic STEM works day in conjunction with EDF on Wednesday
7th February. The day involved 86 Year 8 students working in teams to design and build the furthest
travelling egg carry rocket! The students worked in teams of 5 and tested their designs before
making adjustments. Pictured below are the winning team, the groups where marked not only on
how far the rocket travelled but also their design, presentation and team work. The day focused on
getting students engaged in problem solving ideas and possible future STEM carriers.
