On Wednesday 8th June, 21 students from Court Fields School received their Achievement Prizes, awarded to them by local Councillor, William Brown.
The 2016 Learning Support Faculty Awards was held in the newly refurbished Conference Suite at Court Fields School.
This annual event recognises, celebrates, and rewards the achievements of those students at Court Fields School who are supported in their learning in a variety of subject areas, according to personal needs.
This year, the Faculty were delighted to welcome local councillor and former pupil, William Brown, to present the awards and address the students.
Mr Brown, (who went onto read History at the University of Aberystwyth) gave an inspirational talk, explaining to the students that nothing in life should be a barrier to them achieving their goals.
Successful students were presented with achievement medals, and certificates detailing their particular success or achievement.
