As the Head of Year 9, I am proudly looking forward to developing and building upon our great start to secondary school. We have already enjoyed a wide range of stimulating experiences, sharing successes and conquering issues together in the exciting challenges, we are accessing as our journey through secondary school progresses.

My wholehearted belief in student participation and individual enrichment will not falter. I will always encourage our students to try everything safely and responsibly. The bravery involved in entering into and exploring new interests and pursuits students find interesting, will continue to expand horizons, while gathering valuable life experiences.

The Year 9 cohort have proved themselves to be both creative and hardworking students. They consistently focus fully upon academic performance, while immersing themselves in all of the positive opportunities the Court Fields Experience has to offer. I am most pleased by the developing teamwork and cooperation skills being demonstrated, by all tutor groups, who support each other at every opportunity. With excellent manners and sincere gratitude, students will continue to enhance the character traits highlighted in the school ethos, to prepare them for their next steps.

I feel the school ethos provides our students every opportunity to develop their sense of belonging within the school community. The year group’s keen and enthusiastic participation in the enormous variety of enrichment activities available here at Court Fields School, enhances their sense of belonging and personal confidence. These experiences will ultimately provide the motivation and determination, to boost their potential and offer the chance to achieve their targets and goals.

Form tutors are the first point of contact for any concerns or queries that you may have. The Form tutor will then decide upon the appropriate course of action required.
